eHealth Award finalists 2020
Last year’s finalists Boneprox return with patented AI technology that helps dentists to identify systemic diseases from standard x-rays. CEO and co-founder, Peder Remman, says “the role of dental care in general public health has been limited to regular dental care. With Boneprox, we can connect dental care with healthcare and simultaneously increase the efficiency of the industry through our unique cloud-based platform”.

SidekickHealth’s evidence-based digital care platform provides 360-degree support across a wide spectrum of therapeutic areas. Co-founder and CMO, Dr Sam Oddsson, adds “the impact of COVID-19 has highlighted the urgent need for clinically-validated digital health solutions and we are proud to be in the position to move healthcare forward into the future”.

Cuviva, meanwhile, uses sensors around the homes of the fragile elderly and people with multi-morbidities to check vital parameters, while also providing easy-to-use communication services. Henrik Cederqvist, company co-founder and CEO, believes their nomination shows “that a standalone open ehealth platform, with a person-centred logic, can significantly improve the situation for the patients in greatest need”.
